Frequently Asked Questions

Do you make a Level II holster for my gun if it is not in the list?

Yes. The dropdown shows firearms we already have molds for, which build immediately. For anything else we make a mold — we just need the firearm in hand. Lead time is the same; it starts when your firearm arrives. Request a custom build.

Can I get a Level II holster with my weapon light?

Yes. Choose from 34 lights including Streamlight TLR-1, TLR-7 and TLR-8, Olight Baldr and Valkyrie, SureFire X300 and XC1, Inforce APL, and Nightstick. The holster is molded around the gun and light together.

What does Level II retention actually mean?

Two independent mechanisms. Passive retention holds the firearm by friction and adjusts at the screws. Active retention is the rotating hood that locks over the rear of the slide and releases with a thumb-lever press.

Will it work with a red dot and suppressor-height sights?

Yes. Optic cut, suppressor-height sight clearance and threaded barrel are all selectable options when you order.

Does it fit a PSA Dagger?

Yes. The full-size Dagger, Micro Dagger and Micro Dagger C1 all have molds ready to build.

Is the Safariland drop leg included?

No. The QLS fork is included and comes mounted to the holster. The drop leg, leg strap and receiver plate are sold separately.

How long does it take to make?

Every holster is made to order in Charlotte. Lead times are quoted as a range — call the shop at (980) 224-9835 for current build times.

Can I carry it inside the waistband?

No, this is an OWB holster. For IWB carry see our other Watchdog Tactical holsters.
