Save the time, trouble and gas money of traveling to your cams to pull memory cards with the Moultrie XA-6000 Cellular Trail Camera in Moultrie Pine Bark camo. The camera automatically sends the images it captures to your smartphone or tablet via the Moultrie Mobile app, or to its website. You can view, sort, and manage images, as well as remotely change camera settings. Monthly plans for the AT&T 4G network range from $4.99 for 100 photos to $49.99 for 12,000.
The XA-6000 takes 16MP photos and 720p video, with a trigger speed of 0.9 seconds and a 70′ invisible flash. Full-resolution images are stored on the user-supplied SD memory card, while lower-res images are uploaded to the mobile network. However, you can download a higher-resolution version of any of your images at no extra cost. Video clips are not uploaded to the mobile network, but are stored on the SD card.
To avoid redundant images of the same animal, the XA-6000 is equipped with adjustable Detection Delay, waiting as long as five minutes between triggered images. The initial image can be one picture, three consecutive triggered images, or a burst of three images for each trigger. Select the Managed Memory feature to keep your memory card from filling up—it automatically deletes the oldest photo when a new one is taken. Your images will be stamped with valuable information including moon phase, temperature, time, date, and camera name. The camera will run up to three months on a fresh set of 12 AA batteries, but power options include the Moultrie Camera Battery Box with a rechargeable 12V battery and the Moultrie Game Camera PowerPanel solar panel, both sold separately.
